19-year-old Arrested For Setting Her Ex-boyfriend's House On Fire, Killing His New Lover.



19-year-old Jemila Ibrahim and her friend, Fatima Mohammed, 21-year-old, have both been arrested by the police officers attached to Satellite Division; in connection with the arson that led to the loss of life of her ex-boyfriend's new lover.


According to the statement by the command's spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, on Monday, November 23, 2020, the 19-year-old Jemila Ibrahim conspired with her friend, 21-year-old Fatima Mohammed, to commit the crime on November 18.

He said they both set fire to the apartment occupied by Mohammed Yusuf at Monkey Village in the Festac area of Lagos.


Mohammed Yusuf's new girlfriend, Rabi, was trapped inside the apartment but she was later rescued and rushed to a hospital for medical treatment, but died three days later on November 21.


Although Mohammed told the Police that he broke up with Ibrahim over her alleged promiscuity, before he fell in love with the dead Rabi.


Both Jemila Ibrahim and Yusuf Mohammed have been arrested by police officers attached to Satellite Division, and will soon be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligent Department (SCIID), Panti.


The state's Commissioner of Police, issued that the case be thoroughly investigated so justice can be done.

He also use the medium to appeal to Lagosians to stop taking laws into their own hands!.
